Non-inferiority study of telemedicine versusconventional CBT-I in recently Hospitalized Patients withInsomnia

This is a 6 week study comparing the effectiveness of Behavioral Therapy administered remotely via video conference versus conventional in-office Behavioral Therapy on recently hospitalized patients with insomnia.

1. Medically ill patients with recent hospitalization who are being discharged to home.
2. Age > 18 years
3. Ability to provide informed consent
4. Willingness to undergo home sleep study

Additional information:

Prior to enrollment, patients must pass all inclusion/exclusion criteria as well as a home sleep study in order to be eligible to participate.

Once enrolled, participants will be randomized to one of the following study arms:

Therapy by a clinical psychologist via computer-based video chat.
OR
Therapy by a clinical psychologist in an office setting.
