Assessing community understanding of COVID-19 and research participation through education.

This 6 month-long study aims to raise awareness of COVID-19 among Arizona populations disproportionately affected by the virus; Latino, American Indian, and African American communities. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete study questionnaires and receive information regarding prevention and treatment of COVID-19 by phone, handouts, text, or social media as well as be provided information regarding prevention and treatment trials that are available for COVID-19. The direct benefit to you may be improved understanding of COVID-19 that could help prevent you from suffering from COVID.

Inclusion criteria:

  • Adults aged 18 or greater. There is no upper age limit.
  • Resident of Arizona.
  • Hispanics, American Indians, African Americans. 

Exclusion criteria:

  • Cognitively impaired participants, children, prisoners, or refugees will not be eligible to participate in the study.
